This one needed some attention. Heavy moss growth, debris packed into the valleys, and gutters that were well past due for a cleaning. That combination is a real problem when rain is on the way - clogged gutters back up fast, and moss holds moisture against shingles in a way that shortens roof life over time.

We started on the roof and worked through the moss and buildup that had taken hold across the asphalt shingles. Moss like this doesn't just look bad - it gets under shingles, lifts them slightly, and creates pathways for water to get where it shouldn't. Getting it cleared out is one of the better things you can do to protect a roof that still has good life left in it.

After the roof cleaning, we moved to the gutters. Debris had been collecting along the roofline and finding its way into the channels - exactly what you'd expect with that much tree cover overhead. We cleared everything out and made sure drainage was flowing the way it should.

The difference on a job like this is pretty clear. Before - dark staining, moss patches, debris sitting in the valleys. After - clean shingles, open gutters, and a roof that's actually set up to handle rain properly. That's the whole goal.

Roseville homes surrounded by mature trees deal with this kind of buildup regularly. It's not a once-and-done situation, but staying on top of it makes a real difference in how long your roof holds up and how well your gutters do their job.
